3.7.10 | Women's Softball
Entering Saturday's games, the College of Saint Benedict softball was looking to finish their trip to the Rebel Spring Games in Kissimmee, Florida on a positive note.  The Blazers (0-0 MIAC, 5-7 overall) fell to Webster University 5-4 after rallying in the bottom of the seventh inning but bounced back to defeat Wittenberg University 4-3 in the second game of the day to earn a split.

3.5.10 | Women's Softball
The College of Saint Benedict softball team dropped a pair of close games Friday morning at the Rebel Spring Games in Kissimmee, Florida.  The Blazers were unable to hold onto leads in both games as they fell to 4-6 overall on the season.  York College topped the Blazers 5-4, and Widener University broke a 5-5 tie in the bottom of the sixth inning to hand CSB their fourth consecutive loss.

The College of Saint Benedict (3-18-4, 1-13-4 MIAC) ice hockey team has had three players receive MIAC recognition for their outstanding seasons on the ice when the conference announced their awards this afternoon.

Athletes of the Week
Julia Renner
Renner placed first and second in the triple jump and long jump respectively at the MIAC Championships.  Her winning jump of 11.23 meters in the triple jump met an NCAA provisional mark as well.
