Playing a non-conference game against the Saint Olaf College, the College of Saint Benedict (1-2-0, 0-0-0 MIAC) fell this afternoon by a score of 2-3. The Blazers, playing their final game before the MIAC season opens next weekend, head back to the MAC after playing a solid game that ended up not going their way.

11.14.09 | Women's Cross Country
The Blazer cross country team competed in the NCAA DIII Central Regional race today in Grinnell, Iowa where they took twelth place out of twenty-six teams. The Blazers were led by senior runner Alyx Chapman took 30th place out of 130 athletes. Chapman completed the race with a time of 23:03.1. This time also allowed her to be named All-Regional.

The College of Saint Benedict Swimming and Diving team welcomed Jim Mullin to their campus Tuesday, Nov. 10th to speak about his nephew Ted Mullins’  “Hour of Power “swim-a-thon.

The #2-regionally-ranked College of Saint Benedict volleyball team (26-6 overall) ended their season with a sad loss as they were upset by #7-ranked Luther College 3-2 in the NCAA Division III Regional Quarterfinals.

Alyx Chapman
Chapman received All-Region honors after finishing 30th with a time of 23:03.1 at the Division III Central Regional race. She placed first for the Blazers, which helped lead them to a 12th place finish.
