The College of Saint Benedict competed in the BluGold Invitational at the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire this Firday and came out with an eighth place finish out of ninteen teams. Out of 130 runners, senior
Alyx Chapman (Stillwater, MN, Stillwater Area) was first for the Blazers taking 18th place with a time of 23:16. Sophomore
Kaycee Knutson (Esko, MN, Esko) was close behind with a time of 23:46 taking 31st.
Following Kuntson was junior
Ashley Irons (Twin Falls, ID, Twin Falls) with a time of 24:51. First year runner
Megan Smith (Lakeville, MN, Lakeville North) with a time of 24:56 and junior
Molly Noel (Eagan, MN, Cretin-Derham Hall) with 25:01 took 58th and 59th place respectively. Junior
Caitlin Schnettler (Richmond, MN, ROCORI)was close behind with a time of 25:07 and finishing the top seven for the Blazers was sophomre
Shannon McEvoy (Bloomington, MN, Jefferson)with a time of 25:15.
