Blazer Cross Country places 12th at the NCAA DIII Central Regional

The Blazer cross country team competed and finished off thier season in the NCAA DIII Central Regional race today in Grinnell, Iowa where they took twelth place out of twenty-six teams. The Blazers were led by senior runner
Alyx Chapman (Stillwater, MN, Stillwater Area) took 30th place out of 130 athletes. Chapman completed the race with a time of 23:03.1. This time also allowed her to be named All-Regional.
Next in for the Blazers was sophomore
Kaycee Knutson (Esko, MN, Esko) with a time of 23:35.9, placing her in 50th place. Following Knutson was junior
Kaitlyn Schwarz (Mahtomedi, MN, Mahtomedi) at 23:45.7, first-year
Megan Smith (Lakeville, MN, Lakeville North) at 24:02.7, and junior
Caitlin Schnettler (Richmond, MN, ROCORI) who rounded out the top five the College of Saint Benedict with a time of 24:11.9
