Blazers Swept by Tommies

The College of Saint Benedict (1-4-0, 0-2-0 MIAC) lost 5-0 to the University of Saint Thomas this afternoon in Mendota Heights. Tommies sophomore goalie Nicole Muske stymied the Blazers for 60 minutes with her fantastic play in net as she stopped all 17 Saint Benedict shots.

Sophomore Lauren Herzog (Mendota Heights, MN, Convent of the Visitation) started in goal for the Blazers, stopping 28 shots for the team.

Head coach Pat Michaud, commenting on the game said, "It was just one of those nights for us that once we got in a hole nothing we did clicked. Saint Thomas played a very good game."

The Blazers are back on the ice December 4th as they travel to Augsburg to take on the Auggies. Faceoff is scheduled for 7:05 pm.
