CSB Tennis Dominate The Court
After a rough last weekend the Blazers improved at tonight's match. CSB is now 4-4 in the MIAC and  15-8 after tonight's victory. The College of Saint Benedict tennis team dominated the court with an 8-1 victory versus Bethel University.

CSB started strong and won all three of the doubles matches. In doubles #1 and #3 CSB was behind but came back. Junior captain Rachel Tiegs (Rochester, MN, Lourdes) and first-year Sarah Rossman (Rochester, MN, Lourdes) won 8-6. Junior Katie Rudnitski (Gilman, MN, Foley)and sophomore Elissa Husby (Duluth, MN, Marshall) also had a victory of 8-6. In the singles matches CSB won five of the six. First-year Megan Seipel (New London, MN, New London-Spicer) dominated the court with a victory of 6-1, 6-1. First-year Alyson Brandell (Elk River, MN, Elk River) won 6-1, 6-0. Sophomore captain Kylie Huether (Sioux Falls, SD , Washington) had a victory of 6-1, 6-3.

The Blazers return to the court on Saturday April 25th to take on Saint Mary's University at 2:00 pm in Saint Joseph.

Athletes of the Week
Julia Renner
Renner placed first and second in the triple jump and long jump respectively at the MIAC Championships.  Her winning jump of 11.23 meters in the triple jump met an NCAA provisional mark as well.
