The College of Saint Benedict collected another victory on Saturday April 25th. CSB beat Saint Mary's University 7-2.
The Blazers jumped to a quick 2-1 start in the doubles. Junior captain
Rachel Tiegs (Rochester, MN, Lourdes) led the way with first-year
Sarah Rossman (Rochester, MN, Lourdes) to win 8-2. Tiegs also dominated in the singles with a 6-0, 6-1 victory. Junior
Katie Rudnitski (Gilman, MN, Foley) and first-year
Lauren Jones (Ogden, UT, Saint Joseph Catholic) had a stellar performance with an 8-2 victory. Rudnitski also dominated the court in the singles with a 6-2, 6-1 win. The Blazers are now 5-4 in the MIAC and 16-8 overall.
The Blazers return to the court Sunday April 26th to take on Concordia College at 2:00 pm in Moorhead.
