The College of Saint Benedict outdoor track and field team performed well at the NCAA Qualifier in La Crosse, WI.
Among the top performers for the Blazers were junior
Alyx Chapman (Stillwater, MN, Stillwater Area), who took second in the 5000m run with a time of 18:27.75 and sophomore
Abby Neigebauer (Waseca, MN, Waseca), who finished third in the 100m dash in 12.49 seconds. Senior
Mary Schletty (St. Paul, MN, Cretin-Derham Hall) also had a strong performance at the meet, taking fifth in the triple jump with a distance of 11.24m.
