The MIAC announced the awards for the women's tennis season for 2009.  Junior Rachel Tiegs (Rochester, MN, Lourdes) and sophomore Kylie Huether (Sioux Falls, SD , Washington) were named MIAC All- Conference for singles. First-year Lauren Jones (Ogden, UT, Saint Joseph Catholic) was All-MIAC Sportsmanship team.

Danielle Busch
Danielle Busch
This week's Blazer Athlete of the Week is junior Danielle Busch (New Prague, MN, New Prague). Busch took first in the pole vault last Saturday with a height of 3.45 meters. This height is higher than where Busch started last season and is the best performance in the conference this season.
