Blazers Travel to Puerto Rico

The College of Saint Benedict swimming and diving team competed in the Copa Coqui meet held in Puerto Rico. The Blazers ran into some very tough competition including teams from Canada, Puerto Rico and the United States. CSB, who placed ninth overall, was highlighted by Lindsey Holm's (Inver Grove Heights, MN, Simley) fourth place finish in the 100 meter breaststroke.
Despite two-a-day practices the Blazers have still found time for other activities, including a hike through the El Yunque rainforest and a kayak outing. The Blazers who left for Puerto Rico Tuesday Dec. 29 will return Wednesday Jan. 6.
The Blazers will return to action Thursday Jan. 8th in Moorhead, MN.
