Blazers Divers Hold Their Own
Jessi Haider

The College of Saint Benedict divers competed in the Minnesota Challenge held at the University of Minnesota. The meet featured many outstanding divers, but the Blazers held their own.

First-Year Jessi Haider (Grey Eagle, MN, Melrose High School) recorded the best finishes for the Blazers in both the 1-meter (14th place) and 3-meter (21st place) diving competitions, with scores of 193.20 and 193.05 respectively. Sophomore Elise Genereux (Mound, MN, Watertown-Mayer) also placed highly finishing 28th in the 1-meter and 30th in the 3-meter, while first-year Alyssa Kellar (Federal Way, WA., Thomas Jefferson High School) earned 35th place finish in the 1-meter. With the divers showing vast improvements the Blazers are looking forward to the MIAC Conference Meet, February 18-20 held in Minneapolis, MN.
