Blazer Student-Athletes to Attend NCAA Career in Sports Forum

Blazer athletes and SAAC representatives Devin Bowlin (Winona, MN, Winona Cotter) and Sarah Hupperts (North Oaks, MN , Mounds View) have been selected to represent the College of Saint Benedict at the 2010 NCAA Career in Sports Forum. Bowlin, a junior basketball player, and Hupperts, a junior golfer, were nominated for their demonstrated leadership and involvement in Blazer athletics. 

The four day forum gives athletes a chance to explore and be educated in career paths as a coach or an athletic administer in sports. Bowlin and Hupperts will be given the opportunity to learn more about communication, networking, recruiting, managing culture, transitioning and budgeting.

The event is scheduled to take place May 11-14 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Danielle Busch
Danielle Busch
This week's Blazer Athlete of the Week is junior Danielle Busch (New Prague, MN, New Prague). Busch took first in the pole vault last Saturday with a height of 3.45 meters. This height is higher than where Busch started last season and is the best performance in the conference this season.
