Julia Renner (Shoreview, MN, Mounds View) and first-year
Danielle Busch (New Prague, MN, New Prague) competed in the first day of the NCAA Track and Field Championship this afternoon.
Renner took eighth in her flight of the first round in the long jump with a distance of 5.47m. She did not qualify for finals.
Busch finished 12th in the pole vault with a height of 3.63m.
Renner is set to compete in the high jump on Saturday.
