Blazer Soccer Begins Practice
Sami Meyman
Junior Sami Meyman
The College of Saint Benedict women's soccer team had their first two practices of the season yesterday.

Last season the Blazers finished with an overall record of 10-7-1, but ultimately fell short of making the playoffs after a tough loss to Concordia College.  With many of last years players returning the Blazers look to improve upon last years season and make a run for the MIAC title.

One of Kimble's key returning players is junior defender Sami Meyman (Inver Grove Heights, MN, Simley).  Meyman started all 18 games for the Blazers and played in just about every minute of each game.  At the end of the season Meyman received the honor of being named to the MIAC all-conference team.

The Blazers start season play on September 1st against University of Minnesota-Morris at 4 pm in St. Joseph, MN.
